Step 2 CS - General Information
To be certified by ECFMG, international medical graduates must, among other requirements, satisfy the clinical skills requirement. Step 2 Clinical Skills (Step 2 CS) of the United States Medical Licensing Examination™ (USMLE™) is the exam currently administered that satisfies the clinical skills requirement for ECFMG Certification. USMLE Step 2 CS replaced the former ECFMG Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA®) as the exam that satisfies this requirement, effective June 14, 2004.
